Thrive

The Thrive Approach to Emotional Well-Being

The Thrive approach at The Vale is at the core of everything we do to support our children feeling safe and secure at school.  Thrive gives our young people an opportunity to fill emotional development gaps that, for whatever reason exists at any particular time, and allows them to have time out to reset and develop new skills.

Whether Thrive sessions are delivered as a whole class, a small group or on a one to one basis, our aim is to support as many of our pupils as possible for as long as they need it.  We know that when children are feeling emotionally strong and confident, they will be able to engage with our curriculum and enjoy many more aspects of school life.

Our Thrive provision is run by Mrs Rebecca Wise-Reynolds.  For more information about how we support the emotional needs of our pupils, please do call or take a look at the following links.
