GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

School Fund

School Fund helps to provide services and equipment not supplied by central government. School budgets are very limited and decreasing more than ever, we rely heavily on the voluntary donations that parents generously contribute to the School Fund to ensure that we can continue with our programme of enrichment opportunities including additional resources, materials and equipment.

We need to continue this additional investment in your child’s education and therefore ask parents to assist the school by donating to the fund. This is a voluntary contribution but, as a guide, we are suggesting to parents and carers a monthly donation of £5 per child.

Any additional donations above this would enable us to enhance our facilities further. This can be made through the enthuse platform here: GLF Schools: The Vale Primary School Fund (enthuse.com)

If you are a UK taxpayer you may be able to Gift Aid your contribution which means that we can claim back from the government an additional 25p from every £1 donated. This can be done on the Enthuse payment platform. Alternatively, if you are not able to gift aid your donation you can make your contribution via choosing the non-gift aid option instead. If you have any issues please contact the school office who will be able to talk you through the process.
