GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

What a fantastic first full week all the Robin class have had! They have all settled so quickly and are engaging in all that school offers and have become so independent in Discovery time. In the context of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Discovery Time refers to a period of child-initiated learning and exploration within an enabling environment, where children apply new skills and knowledge through hands-on play and investigation. Lots of fun had by the children and staff at the GLF Boundless Festival celebrating all their achievements this year. They were able to watch a magician and then some of our students practised and performed with the GLF choir. A magical day! 🪄✨
