GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

This week, Year 1 enjoyed a lovely local walk around the village as part of their wider curriculum learning about local buildings and structures. The children explored different types of buildings, noticing materials, shapes, and features, and discussed how these buildings are used in the community. Year R children loved dressing up as part of their learning about People Who Help Us. This hands-on experience is an important part of their development, giving real-world context to their learning and helping them understand the many roles that keep our community safe and supported.
